Meet our Therapists
Cindy Golden Billittier: Owner, L.I.S.W.-S
With over 30 years of clinical experience, I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and families across a broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral challenges. My career has spanned diverse settings—including hospitals, adolescent residential programs, an eating disorder specialty center, group practices, and my own private practices—allowing me to bring a depth of perspective and adaptability to my work. I also value the collaboration of care with other practitioners and physicians in the community to make sure we are all working together in the best interest of our clients/patients.
I am deeply committed to supporting individuals from all walks of life, and I adapt each therapeutic approach to meet the unique goals and needs of the person or family in front of me. My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Maudsley Family Therapy, particularly for the treatment of eating disorders. Whether you're navigating a difficult transition, managing a chronic condition, or seeking greater emotional resilience, I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate space for healing and growth.
I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts at Albion College, in Albion, Michigan. I then graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Master’s in Social Work.
I am a native of Cleveland, Ohio, born and raised. Outside of my professional practice, I find joy in spending time with my family and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and exploring nature. I am a Cleveland sports fan and enjoy going to football, baseball and basketball games. I also have a deep appreciation for travel and enjoy discovering new places and cultures.
